This was the line at meal time. Some Vietnamese helped the ship's catering staff to prepare the meals. The ship only had stores for a crew of 50, but suddenly it was feeding 400. On the first morning the whole of the ship's stock of fresh fruit was consumed. After that we had potatoes, rice, meat balls, baked beans all mashed together in huge pots, the same for everyone. I don't think anyone complained!
