Watching this news bulletin is amazing! There were so much preparation for our arrival, sorting out donated clothes, cleaning, making beds, paparazzi (!!) waiting for our arrival etc.
I particuarly remember the fllight as I wore a white jumper & it itched like crazy under my armpits! I fidgeted a great deal, to the annoyance of my uncle Hoa, who sat next to me. Quite trivial when compared with the enormity of the situation, but for a young child that was a big deal!
