About the photos on our site...

I finally got a hold of the person that took those amazing photos of the boat people Wellpark rescued in 1978. He is now one of our members, his name is Mike Newton aka Pentlandpirate. He allowed me to post the pictures on our site so we can share with our friends and family. Thank you Mike. Mike also added a link of our site to the shipsnostalgia site in hope that it will help bring a few more Wellpark people to us and hope that they can join our 30 year Wellpark Reunion.

The photos you see on this site were taken by Mike Newton, one of the fine cadet on Wellpark but posted by me on this site.

If any member has pictures of the time we lived on Wellpark or the time we lived in Kensington please share them on this site. Thank you, Chi

Can I suggest that if anyone recognises themselves in the photos it would be great if they can add a comment to the photo with their name, and anyone else they recognise. And it would also be fun if they can add a comment of what they remember of that moment when the photo was taken too!
