About Me:: No longer living in the Middle East but rotating. Now work for Saudi ARAMCO in their Marine Department as a consultant (Contractor) running a fleet of 90 AHTS's and moving drilling rigs.

I was on the Wellpark that night. I spotted the flare that the boat put up and later sailed in the lifeboat to go to the stricken vessel's assistance. I will be unable to make the reunion as I will be at work, but wish all who attend all the very best.

I left Denholm's in 1979 and went to work for MENAS in Bahrain, on their ship Relume . The wife moved out there with me and we lived there for 8 years. Then we moved down to Abu Dhabi in the Emirates and spent 10 years there where I worked as a Marine Consultant for 10 years. Following that moved to Qatar where I work month on month off but office based in Doha, we have been here for 10 years now. Had a couple of boys one just finished Uni at Exeter and is now working in Bristol the other has just started at Shields doing Engineering, he does his first trip to see in August. Still married I spend 4 months of the year on my sailing boat which is currently based in Corfu where we have a house. The other two months I doss about in England seeing family or in the Dive spots of the world as we are keen divers. Do you know where any of the other Wellpark crew are.
