Hi Thuy, The reunion date is really bad for us. The children have to go back to school on 1st Sept. Their schools are very strict especially for our second daughter who will start in the new secondary school. We will have to give it a miss. Hopefully I can get a DVD of the event. I am Tao, the youngest. My sister also lives in Miami but will not be able to attend the reunion. I think that my parents may come as they will be visiting my uncles and aunts and cousins in Orange County in August. They may all come to the reunion. I will try my best to be there.

The clips which are mentioned on shipsnostalgia are 'Reuters' clips. For whatever reason this means they archived and cannot be viewed online, although you can read the detail of what is on the film. But they are stored, and for USD 5000 we can have 5 minutes of news reel! I am going to give Chi the contacts at ITN Source and suggest, you, as the Wellpark Committee apply to them to release the film for a nominal fee and just charge for cleaning and copying the film, approx USD 440.00, which I would happily pay myself.

My family in London will not be able to come to our reunion but I will definitely be there. Do you remember Anh De who worked for BCAR at Kensington Barrack as an interpreter? He is organizing a reunion for whoever that are still around and it is planned to take place at the end of May-2008.

I have a copy of the film Jo made, would you like me to bring a copy over for you.

I remember your family well. Co Nghia was very 'cool' and Co Nghiem was very nice. Your grandma was great too. How is everyone by the way? I have several pictures of us together that I will post soon.

We had a blast back in the barrack days....running back and forth through the parking lot & sleding down the snow. I will be in town during this reunion. However, I have previous engagement that I will try to end early or try to get out of. Wish everyone the best and hopefully will see 'y'all' (a bit of Texas in me) soon.

My parents have retired and are now living close to us in Sugar Land, Texas. They will also be in L.A. with us during the event. However, they will not be able to attend due to prior commitment. Van (Lauren) was suggesting that if we all cannot attend the reunion then maybe we can get together afterward.

My brother is also on this web site. I think he registered as Andy Nguyen and his fiance is Monica Quiroz. I believe they are planning to attend this event as well as anh Thoai and Tung.

Looking back at the pictures gave me some perspective of how far we have come. I'm thankful for those who advertently or inadvertently helped us along our way. These are memories no one can take away from us. I think what you have done is very admirable to humble us and remind us of those fond memories. Thank you again chi Thuy, chi Chi, and everyone who is organizing this reunion.

I am surprise to get a connection with you at this time. But also it is very touching like I am talking to you in person. I really enjoy the short time that we had last Sunday and regret that I did not have a lot of time going around taking to more people. You and Van were not change much, I still can recognize you. But Chi looks totally different and prettier.

The event was amazing, specially with satelite. It is quite an advance tech and I am so proud of our next generation.
